RECERTIFY WHERE YOU WANT; WHEN YOU WANT
MROCC's online recertification examination has been designed to be the most
efficient and economic method for recertifying MRO Credentials while maintaining
the highest levels of integrity and quality of standards. Physicians wishing to
recertify with MROCC may opt to take the online exam (open book and not timed) or
the onsite exam (closed book and timed following the MRO courses provided by
ACOEM or ASAM).
And MROCC offers category 1 CME activities to fulfill Federal and MROCC
requirements! Each CME activity is MRO-specific and satisfies the DOT requirement
for MRO updating every three years. By combining one or more of MROCC's CME
activities with the online recertification examination, physicians who already have
or had MRO certification through MROCC or AAMRO may recertify their MRO
credential in the most cost-effective and timely manner - all in the convenience of
their own home or office using the latest technology and the same high quality of
standards that MROCC-certified physicians have enjoyed for years.
For physicians who meet the recertification requirements, the online exam is an
open-book recertification examination conveniently web-based, accessible from
any computer with a high-speed Internet connection. No more traveling to an exam
site or taking time away from the office. There is nothing to obtain in the mail and
nothing to mail back. From your first log on, take up to 30 days to complete and
submit your answers! Log on and off at-will! Know if you Passed or Failed
Immediately after submitting your exam for scoring! And, receive detailed
information showing how well you did in each of the five MRO Competencies areas.
Of course, this flexible and practical option maintains the quality and integrity of
the MROCC examination - a hallmark of MROCC certification!
Be Confident that your MRO certification status is recognized by the Department of
Transportation! Recertification fulfills the DOT requirement for MRO certification,
and assures those in need of MRO services that the MRO is up-to-date in the latest
technologies, advances and policies within the MRO arena. This in-home or in-
office examination is designed as a self-evaluation tool to help the MRO measure
and evaluate his or her own knowledge base, and offers them a learning experience
that assures they are confident and current in the performance and practice of their
MRO duties.
