MROCC Recertification is open to physicians who were previously certified by MROCC or AAMRO. DOT requires MROs
MROCC's online recertification examination has been designed to be the most efficient and economic method for
recertifying MRO Credentials while maintaining the highest levels of integrity and quality of standards. Physicians
wishing to recertify with MROCC may opt to take the online exam (open book and not timed) or the onsite exam
(closed book and timed) following the MRO courses provided by ACOEM or ASAM.

MROCC offers a category 1 CME activity to fulfill Federal and MROCC requirements! The CME activity is MRO-specific
and satisfies the DOT requirement for MRO retraining. By completing this CME activity and taking MROCC's exam,
physicians who currently have or previously had MRO certification through MROCC or AAMRO may recertify their MRO
credential in the most cost-effective and timely manner - all in the convenience of their own home or office using the
latest technology and the same high quality of standards that MROCC-certified physicians have enjoyed for years.
This is the most cost-effective means to recertification - no travel, no hotels and no time away from home or the office!
The total cost of this activity is $555 and includes the online recertification examination plus up to 18 category 1 CME
credit hours ($495 for the online exam plus $60 for the CME activity = $555).
THE ONLINE RECERTIFICATION EXAMINATION
For physicians who meet the recertification requirements, the online exam is an open-book recertification
examination conveniently web-based, accessible from any computer with a high-speed Internet connection. No more
traveling to an exam site or taking time away from the office. There is nothing to obtain in the mail and nothing to
mail back. From your first log on, take up to 30 days to complete and submit your answers! Log on and off at-will!
Know if you Passed or Failed Immediately after submitting your exam for scoring! And, receive detailed information
showing how well you did in each of the five MRO Competencies areas. Of course, this flexible and practical option
maintains the quality and integrity of the MROCC examination - a hallmark of MROCC certification!
HHS and DOT RECOGNIZED CERTIFICATION
Be Confident that your MRO certification status is recognized by the Department of Transportation and approved by
HHS! Recertification fulfills the DOT requirement for MRO certification, and assures those in need of MRO services
that the MRO is up-to-date in the latest technologies, advances and policies within the MRO arena. This in-home or
in-office examination is designed as a self-evaluation tool to help the MRO measure and evaluate his or her own
knowledge base, and offers them a learning experience that assures they are confident and current in the
performance and practice of their MRO duties.
