You will not receive confirmation by mail so please make sure you are able to
receive email from mrocc. Once you register for the online examination there are no refunds.
MROCC RETEST POLICY FOR INITIAL CERTIFICATION: If the Initial Certification exam is failed one retest exam is available for a $125 reprocessing fee. This retest may be taken either onsite or online. After a second failure, however, a new application and full payment must be submitted for a third attempt. If you are applying for a RETEST after a failed exam click here.
The online exam provides an immediate Pass or Fail determination, and a detailed breakdown of test results by each competency area is provided. The online exam is the fastest means to MRO certification!
Physicians seeking Initial MRO Certification may take the Initial Certification Examination either onsite - immediately following a training course sponsored by ACOEM or ASAM - or online, within 12 months of a training course, using a computer (PC or Mac) and a high-speed Internet connection. The onsite (traditional closed-book and timed exam) is $495. The examination fee for the online version of the examination is $595, and the following conditions apply:
--The online exam must be taken within 12 months of the training course.
--The online exam is a three-hour (180 minutes) timed examination - time starts at log in.
--The online exam must be completed in one sitting (no logging on and off).
