PRIOR CERTIFICATION SEARCH -

If a physician is not listed in the MROCC Directory of Certified MROs
he or she may not be MROCC Certified, or may have an MROCC-
certification that has expired.

In this latter case the physician might still be in compliance of the
Federal Regulation requiring Initial MRO Certification under 49 CFR
Part 40.  If a physician initially certified with MROCC but did not
recertify through MROCC he or she remains in our database and is
considered "archived".  An "archived" physician was initially certified
by MROCC but has not re-certified.

To view an "archived" MRO, use the link tool below. Please note that
the Coast Guard requires MROs who evaluate and "sign off" on drug
test results to be currently-certified and listed in the directory of
currently-certified MROs.

MROCC's mission is to preserve the quality of standards among
Medical Review Officers and, as such, promotes recertification of
MRO credentials every six years.  Only those physicians who are
currently-certified by MROCC are listed in the directory of certified
MROs on our web site.
